Récit du voyage de Georges Gibson en Cochinchine où il fut envoyé en mission en 1822 par l’empereur d’Ava pour accompagner Cadoelan et Dooratpin à Hué en Cochinchine. L’embarcation partie le 21 juillet 1822 d’Ava composée de 10 bateaux : 9 birmans dont un commandé par Georges Gibson et 1 grand bateau avec Cadoelan et Dooratpin et 18 cochinchinois.
