Image représentant sur trois registres des hommes occupés à des travaux des champs, du labour à la récolte, en passant par la plantation. Cette estampe allait de pair avec celle de femmes occupées pareillement à des travaux manuels. Elles étaient fabriquées dans le but de promouvoir la société traditionnelle.
Cette estampe est inscrite des caractères 北公義 (bei Gongyi) indiquant qu'elle est une production de l'atelier Gongyi du Nord.
