Xylographie multicolore représentant une scène de l'opéra de Pékin, 四郎探母 (Silang tan mu; "Le quatrième fils rend visite à sa mère"). Cette pièce se déroule sous la dynastie des Song du Nord (906-1127) et raconte le récit de Yang Yanhui 楊延輝, quatrième fils 四郎 (silang) de la famille Yang, et général d'armée Song qui fut captif des Liao (907-1125) durant près de quinze ans. Un jour, il parvient à rendre visite à sa mère devenue âgée et lui implore alors à genoux de le pardonner.
