Xylographie multicolore double représentant quatre personnages masculins dans une scène de combat opposant 一枝蘭 (Yi Zhilan) à 黄天霸 (Huang Tianba), 何路通 (He Lutong) et 朱光祖 (Zhu Guangzu). Il s'agit de l'épisode de la capture de Yi Zhilan: 拿一枝蘭 (na Yi Zhilan) tiré des récits de Shi Gong (施公, ou Shi Shilun 施世綸, 1659-1722), légendaire fonctionnaire de l'ère Kangxi sous la dynastie Qing (1644-1911).
L'ensemble est signé de l'atelier de Wan Tong 萬同 et frappé d'un sceau rouge en écriture sigillaire: 朱仙鎮木板年畫博物館 (Zhuxian zhen muban nianhua bowuguan) indiquant que l'œuvre appartenait vraisemblablement au Musée des estampes du Nouvel An de Zhuxian (Kaifeng, Henan).
La feuille comporte deux estampes du même modèle qui ont pour vocation d'être séparées pour être vendues individuellement.
